The usual days and hours of operation: Monday through Friday - 7:00 am - 8:00 pm
Unique setting for children and teens that are particularly resistant to change are more likely to be impacted by the unique setting of an historic horse and agricultural ranch

PROGRAMS
EQUINE THERAPY is a program for children between the ages of 4-16. The program utilizes the gentleness and strength of the horse to provide a valuable addition to the traditional therapy each youth receives at "APOHCM". The horse is a living, breathing, therapeutic tool that naturally grabs a youth's attention and motivates even the most treatment-resistant child. Many times this will be the first exposure that children have to real trust and responsibility - caring for another life in a manner that teaches and develops the youths in a positive manner. Horses have the capacity to read human emotions with amazing accuracy. They sense trust, uncertainty, fear, happiness, and everything in between. It is in the relationship with a horse the youths in our program will learn how to trust and heal from the inside out.
PLANT- A-SEED is a program for children between the ages of 3-16. The program focuses on the need of Spiritual growth and teaches them the various stages of development. Our children need to be spiritually equipped. This program develops Seed-Faith through relating seed growth to human growth and teaches them observation and comparison skills. Caring for plants and watching them grow leaves children with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
TEAM BUILDING is a program for children between the ages of 3-16. The program is a phenomenal program that teaches sporting activities through modern technology, the "Wii". In times like these of complexity, rapid change and instability it is essential to balance the vast technological resources and information from the outer world with instinct, self awareness, inner knowledge and authentic relationships. This program provides an appreciation for differences and diversity; develops negotiation skills;provides positive motivations and reinforcements. These activities are exercises for the body and the mind; works and develops children both physically and mentally. Tools learned through our Team Building Program will be applied to everyday living and the workplace.
